Quavo was born in Athens, Georgia. His mother Edna Marshall, was a hairdresser and his father passed away when he was only 4-years-old. He was later moved to Gwinnett County where he grew up with the other two members of the Migos.

He dropped out of high school just months before his graduation despite finishing the football season for his senior year.
He decided to pursue his rap career in the music industry. His close tides with his cousin Offset and Nephew TakeOff created a bond that led to the trio forming a rap group called Polo Club in 2008.
However, they had to change the name to Migos as the latter was more fitting to their needs.
After the creation of Migos in 2009, Quavo and his two other group members didn’t hit mainstream recognition even after the release of two mixtapes, Juung Season (2011), and No Label(2012).

Quavo wasn’t yet satisfied even with the amount of recognition he and his group were receiving. He worked harder with the group and they released their debut studio album, Young Rich Nation, in 2015, six years after coming together, and their second album, Culture, in 2017.
The second album was a blast, topped the Billboard 200 Chart upon its release. The huge success of the album further widened Quavo’s recognition. The album featured many other artists such as Young Thug, Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, Gucci Mane, etc.
Quavo later released a single in 2018 as a solo artist titled ‘Quavo Huncho’.
Quavo is the oldest of the hip hop trap group Migos. He is Offset’s cousin and TakeOff’s uncle. Quavo has been indifferent relationships but is yet to be married.
He was reportedly dating Lira Galore, a top artist in the music industry in 2016 before getting down with Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran.
He later started dating Iggy Azalea in 2017, the affair which was shortly before his hookup with 38-years-old American model Bernice Burgos in 2018. Currently, Quavo is seen dating 25-years-old Saweetie.
