Malcolm James McCormick was born on January 19, 1992, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

His father, Mark McCormick was an architect, and his mother, Karen Meyers, a photographer. He had an older brother, and they were both raised Jewish. He attended a Catholic grade school so he can obtain a good education and an opportunity to play football and lacrosse.
