LadBaby is a British blogger and YouTube personality. He began his YouTube career by posting honest documentaries about his first-time experience into parenthood alongside his wife, Roxanne, A.K.A LadBabymum.
He and his wife did a parody cover of Starship’s “We Built This City” as a charity single. The song went on to take the number spot on the 2018 UK Singles Christmas Chart.
He is also a self-established entrepreneur and the creator of the toolbox, Lunchbox. Before he became LadBaby, he worked as a graphic designer, splitting his time between Nottingham and London.

Mark Hoyle, popularly known by his internet pseudonym LadBaby, and his wife Roxanne got married in Las Vegas in 2015. And together, the couple has two sons born in 2016 and 2018. Mark started the blog called ‘LadBaby’ when his wife Roxanne was pregnant with their first child.
The idea behind naming the blog ‘LadBaby’ was simply based on the fact that he “was a lad and [he] was having a baby”.
He started off by uploading documentaries on his day-to-day life as a first-time parent. And today, his LadBaby YouTube channel, Facebook page, and Instagram account have over 660,000 subscribers, 3,300,000 likes and 649,000 followers respectively.

For instance, in one of his vlogs uploaded in June 2017, Mark bought a toolbox from a hardware store to serve as a replacement for his son’s lunchbox. The video went viral after just a short period of its release.
Mark has also created other handy inventions such as a baby walker made of pipes, a makeshift paddling pool made from a skip. In addition, he also created a makeshift baby gate made from the severed half of a door.
In February of 2018, Mark uploaded two vlogs that went viral. The video went viral because Mark and his wife had wrapped each other’s car with love heart stickers and photographs of their faces. The catchphrase “Yes Mate!” is also often used in their videos.

After that, the Hoyle did a parody cover of Starship’s song “We Built This City” on December 14, 2018. The song was released in support of foodbank charity The Trussell Trust.
In the song, the lyric “…on rock and roll” is replaced with “…on sausage rolls”.
After a week of its release, the song topped the UK Singles Chart’s 2018 Christmas chart, selling over 75,000 copies.
