Robert James Ritchie A.K.A Kid Rock was born on January 17, 1971 in Romeo, Michigan, to father William Ritchie a car dealer and mother Susan Ritchie. His father was a landlord. Kid Rock was raised in a 6 acres estate owned by his father. As a young boy, he would regularly help his family pick apples and care for their horses.
