Dana Marie Perino was born in Evanston, Wyoming on May 9, 1972, to parents Janice “Jan”(Mother) and Leo Perino(Father). She grew up in Denver, Colorado, and attended Ponderosa High School in Parker. After graduating from high school, she attended the Colorado State University-Pueblo, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in mass communications and minors in both political science and Spanish. She worked at KTSC-TV, an affiliate of the campus-based Rocky Mountain PBS while on the school’s forensic team.
