Why would anyone want to continue breeding this species of dogs? I mean just look at it, it looks like it’ll pack enough germs and bacteria’s on its dreadlocks-looking coat which hangs down and can become really long, even reaching the ground.

The Puli sits as the thirteenth ugliest dog breed in the world.

Next up on our list of ugliest dog breed is a dog that was once favorite to royalties, the Shih Tzu. I guess they may have realized how ugly this mutt is, that’s why they started having them replaced slowly.

Well, due to its absurdly hairy coat with shorts, and a relatively long body broadheads, and really wide eyes, profuse beard and mustache (like that of an old Chinese Shaolin Master), and large, pendant ears covered with abundant hair, the Shih Tzu is our tenth ugliest dog breed in the world.

One look at the Borzoi and wham! You see ugly! This breed of the breed is not just a member of the sighthound family but is also a member of the ugliest dog family. It is a bizarre-looking canine and is one of the tallest dogs too.

But, despite its weird look, this dog breed is very intelligent, is loyal to its master and affectionate with its family, making it suitable for families with little children. It comes at number five as the ugliest dog in the world.

The 4th position of the ugliest dog in the world goes to the Wire Fox Terrier. One of many terrier breeds. Are the Wire Fox bears considered a good pet? yes, they are, as they do have great bound with children. If you have ever considered buying this dog. trust me you won’t regret it.

However, due to it, uncommon beard, it was voted among the ugliest dogs in the world.

3. Pug

Pug

Next up is the Pug. In my opinion, Pugs look really adorable when they are just pups, but what happens to their adorable appearance when they grow older, I can’t explain.

But, the truth is, they’re overrated. I mean, just take a look at it, it looks like it ran its face into a brick wall. And with those bulging eyes that look like they about to fall out, there’s no doubt it is the 3rd ugliest dogs in the world.

2. Chinese Shar-Pei

Second place goes to the Chinese Shar-Pei. If any individual dog is famous for ugliness, it’s this one. A dog can be seen as adorable by its personality (loyal, intelligent, playful, etc), but if it were rated by its physical appearance, Chinese Shar-Pei would certainly take the second place, only to be bested by another ugly mutt, the Chinese Crested.

But, however, its large head with folds all over certainly makes them the second ugliest dogs in the world

1. Chinese Crested Dog

Chinese Crested Dog

Down to the last, ugliest looking dog on our list is the Chinese crested dog. In my personal opinion, I really think people should stop breeding or buying them! Come on! Look at it, doesn’t it look bizarre enough? The Chinese Crested dog is hairless (that means, for the most part, they are born without fur). Of some breeds (like Pugs) it is said, “They’re so ugly that it makes them cute.” And when it comes to Pugs, yes, they are in a way ugly-cute.

But, not in the case of the Chinese Crested, they are straight-up ugly and so deservingly takes the first position as the ugliest dogs in the world. I mean, there isn’t one attractive thing about this dog.

Would you consider buying any of these dogs?

#1. if yes which of these dogs would you buy?

#2. If no, tell us why
